The AAA’s Mitcham office will be closed from Thursday 14 June 2018, with the new office in Canberra opening on Monday 18 June.

Amanda Olthof

Amanda has been appointed to the position of Chief Executive Officer of the AAA and will take up her appointment at the start of July. Amanda will also take over the role of Company Secretary from Sue Harris, in accordance with the AAA constitution.

Amanda is joining us from her current position as Policy Director at WoolProducers Australia (WPA) and so comes with a wealth of highly relevant knowledge and experience which will be of direct benefit to the alpaca industry.

Amanda has a degree in agricultural economics and prior to working for WPA was employed at Australian Pork Limited (APL) and Airservices Australia.

We are very excited at the skills that Amanda will bring to the organization and know that she is equally as excited to be joining our industry.

Aaron Makochekanwa

Aaron has been appointed to the position of Finance and Administration Manager and will take up his appointment on Monday 18 June.

Aaron has been working in finance and administration roles in Canberra since completing his degree in Commerce (majoring in Accounting) in 2012. Aaron will be working for AAA for four days a week, whilst continuing his professional development through part-time postgraduate studies.

With his experience not only of the financial aspects of running an organization but also with a passion for providing high quality customer service, we know that Aaron will fit into this challenging role perfectly.
