Our people
The success of AAA largely depends on our small but dynamic team of staff and Board members who are passionate about seeing the Australian alpaca industry evolve into a viable and sustainable primary industry.
Our Board
The AAA Board is elected by our members and have the overall governance responsibility of the Association. The business of the Association is governed by the Directors, who have defined duties and responsibilities under the Corporations Act and the AAA Constitution.
Our Staff
The AAA has a small but dedicated team of three staff members located in our national Canberra office that work directly with our Board and members to achieve the best outcomes for the industry.
Our life members
A member of the Australian Alpaca Association Ltd is awarded a Life Membership for the outstanding and highly honorable contribution they have made to the Association. The contribution and involvement by the member is to be exceptional and has clearly demonstrated over a number of years, a commitment and loyalty to the industry. It is the highest award that can be bestowed.
